Saving cucumbers with Too Good To Go

This summer, Reitzel Switzerland and Too Good To Go joined forces for a second edition of the harvest action aimed at saving large quantities of cucumbers from going to waste. From July to the end of August, you had the chance to reserve these delicious cucumbers via the Too Good To Go app and pick them up at the Hugo Shop in Aigle, all for the symbolic sum of CHF 2.

Everyone's exceptional commitment paid off: in the space of 50 days, we managed to save 15 tonnes of cucumbers, generating a remarkable collection of CHF 3,000. This success is testimony to the positive impact that a community determined to reduce food waste can have. This action is part of our VIA strategy and our 'planet' pillar, in which we are committed to rethinking our economy to make it circular and thus avoid waste.

We are proud to announce that once again the 3,000 Swiss francs have been donated to the Fondation Table Suisse. We thank you for your commitment and look forward to seeing you next year!
